We are thrilled to announce our continued urban beekeeping partnership with Bee-Clean Building Maintenance for the second year. Once again, we have two hives set up in their secure compound. This year, we’ve observed the bees working diligently, gathering pollen and nectar to support their young brood and store reserves. We look forward to harvesting this unique and flavorful honey over the September long weekend. We are excited to present Bee-Clean Building Maintenance with this special honey, a testament to our fruitful collaboration.

As our beekeeping season draws to a close, the work at Golden Bay Honey and Beehive Tours is far from over. We’re excited to continue hosting several school groups eager to visit our honeybee farm for educational experiences. We look forward to sharing the wonders of beekeeping and the importance of bees with these enthusiastic students.

This summer, we had the pleasure of attending four YMCA-YWCA summer camps with an observation hive. The time spent with the children was both educational and fun for everyone involved.

During the winter, while the honeybees keep the queen warm, groomed, and fed, we will be heading into the city to visit classrooms and discuss the fascinating world of honeybees.
